Competitive Training 2nd September 2013

We had glorious weather for our CT day this year at Lowfold near Wisborough Green and a record turnout for the three classes: Pre-Novice, Novice and Open
Our judges for the day were Jo Hawksworth, Lindsey Warren, Di Paterson and Sterling Davies
Each group completed four tests to include a water retrieve and the marks were so close at the top that we had to hold two run offs for 1st place in both the Novice and Pre-Novice
The Open winner was Rosemary Saddler who can now proudly say she has over the years won all three Trainthatdog trophies with Cinder!

With huge thanks to our four judges for giving us their time and encouragement and to Cate Osmaston for the use of her wonderful ground and water. Thank you to Lise Lavery for her wonderfully engraved Novice trophy which has now been awarded for its 7th year.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable day and keeping with tradition we finished by around 1pm so we could all go and enjoy a pub lunch together, this time at the excellent Bat & Ball at Wisborough Green - The only pub nearby with a car park and beer garden big enough for us all!
Looking forward to next year's awards already!
