Your dog, like humans, will take two steps forward and one step back during the first one to two years.  From about six months, they are more likely to challenge you and this will probably continue in phases for another year.  Therefore, keeping up with training classes as and when necessary is beneficial to both dog and owner.

We offer obedience classes to this effect.  They can take different forms depending on the areas of behaviour that need to be addressed.

General obedience classes - usually held in an enclosed field, these classes focus on sit stays, recall, heel work and socialisation. An introduction to chickens and livestock helps promote steadiness and self-control throughout the class

Training Walks  - less formal than an obedience class. We take a group class to a public walking area to address general behaviour on a walk e.g., recall, interaction with other dogs, people, etc.

Specialist Classes  - e.g. introduction to horses, dealing with fear or aggression toward horses, horse chasing.  Maybe you just want to be able to take your dog with you whilst out riding?  Sometimes we will take a small group to a town to help dogs cope with people, traffic, noises, etc.
